Notice about who performs the restoration work
Lewisville Water Damage Restoration takes calls and online requests for water damage service and passes each one to an independent, licensed local company referred to here as the "partner." The partner, not Lewisville Water Damage Restoration, performs the water extraction, structural drying and any repair, and the partner alone answers for its assessment, pricing, equipment and workmanship.
We know of no Texas license category specific to water extraction or drying. Plumbing repair requires a licensed plumber, and construction work after drying is performed under the licenses and city registrations that apply to that trade. Mold assessment and mold remediation are licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation under Texas Occupations Code Chapter 1958, which bars one license holder from performing both on the same project. Lewisville Water Damage Restoration and this website hold no license of any kind and do not claim one.
A customer may request the partner's license number by telephoning (833) 490-5225 at any hour or by asking when the partner calls ahead of the visit. For the partner's privacy the number is not displayed on this website, and it can be verified with the issuing authority before repair work begins.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Texas issues no single statewide licence for general contracting or for water extraction and drying. Specific trades are licensed: plumbing by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and mold assessment and remediation, along with air conditioning work, by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Under TDLR's mold rules one licence holder may not both assess and remediate the same project, so testing and removal are separate jobs. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
